Peace

In June 2008... I was in the middle of the Mexican desert... dancing with Mescalito... and in the middle of a 3hr task of making a giant 15ft peace sign on the desert floor out of about 5lb stones. In a place where few will ever see it. I worked in stone because that's the "medium" I had handy. I didn't make it for an art show, or as an installation for anyone to view. I created something that was an international symbol that crosses language barriers... and the idea of which weighed heavy on my mind.
